Wedge Booties

I've always loved skirts and dresses but I never really wore them until I graduated from school.  Lately skirts have been a little difficult for me to wear because of the baby weight, hank goodness the dresses still fit...well sort of...

My struggle with finding great fitting clothes that will fit me later has prompted me to make my Etsy clothing for women just like me.  Women who want to wear cute things and not have to re-buy things in a different size when their bodies change.  Anyway, back to the skirts...here are a few of my favorites:

Bridesmaid Dress Trade-In Program

Not too long ago I got an email about a cool program (I'm not sure how new it is...) that offers you to trade in that expensive (maybe even ugly) bridesmaid dress in for credit toward a shiny new LBD (little black dress).  It seems like a cool idea, but it reminds me of the cash for gold programs because you never know how much credit you will receive and once it's sent.  However the idea is cool, you can check it out here: Newly Maid

Shoes!!

I never thought of myself as a shoe collector, it wasn't until we recently moved that I realized how many shoes I own.  It's a frightening number and I haven't actually counted.  Maybe one day I will lay them out in my yard so that I can share my pretties.  The whole point of this post is for me to share my latest craving:

Polka Dots!

I really like dots but after I watched Because I Said So with Mandy Moore I have been feeling a little self-conscious about polka dots.  Lately I have been seeing dots everywhere and I really want them, especially this shirt from Old Navy.  Are dots old lady-ish?

Cobalt shoes

I fell in love with the color cobalt after my husband bought me a dress in that color.  It wasn't until after Christmas that I learned he bought me the dress because my engagement ring hadn't arrived and he didn't have a present for me.  His intent was to take me out for New Year's in my new dress and propose to me then, but his plan was foiled because the ring still wasn't ready from the manufacturers.  In the end it really didn't matter because I said yes!

Now that it is my favorite color I have tons of clothing with the color and now I need some matching shoes!  I found some flats before but I didn't order then because I was trying to be a good girl and not shop....pft!  I should have just bought them because then I wouldn't be on this silly hunt looking for a pair of cobalt shoes!
